Renton School District was looking for educational solutions for team collaboration.

Using TeamOS, Renton School District team members participated in a 4 hour team building program, focusing on team building and cross team collaboration. During that program, it was discovered at the mid-point that the teams were not collaborating and multiple people worked together to ensure the district goal was met. This program’s metaphor was that scoring points was the equivalent to helping a student graduate.

Post program, Geoteaming used it’s exclusive TeamOS video analysis and discovered amazing stories of inclusion and teamwork as well as opportunities for planning and strategy.

1 month after the program, Geoteaming changed the culture to collaboration first. When presented with a team challenge, all teams collaborated together to get the same time so they could share the reward. Geoteaming then shared the TeamOS video analysis which highlighted what this district does best and what opportunities exist. At the close, when the district was asked to do the same team challenge again, they were able to work together to get the same result in 71% LESS TIME!
