When Tony Robbins wants team building, he calls Geoteaming!  Global Youth Leadership Summit (GYLS) is Tony Robbins Foundation’s summer leadership conference.  Held at UC San Diego, this camp hosts over 400 of the top youth leaders from around the world for a week long transformational experience.  This year’s program highlights top speakers such as Kathy Buckley,  training with Egoscue trainers and team building!

Utilizing the beautiful UCSD campus, GYLS wanted team building that engaged the teams with cell phone app technology as well as built important team building and leadership skills.  This 4 hour program starts after lunch with Geoteaming CEO sharing his personal story of how he created Geoteaming using Tony Robbins technology.

The teams create a team cheer and learn how to use the app.  Then they’re off!  The teams explore the campus for an hour as their team leaders observe their team behaviors.  The missions are customized to demonstrate Tony Robbins education that they just learned.  The game is turned off and the teams debrief to find what they learned and what they could do better.  The game is turned back on and they apply what they learned immediately.

The day ends at 5pm where they report back to their dorms.  The scores are revealed the next day and are added to a team score.  Participants say they have a blast and learn valuable lessons such as how to work with people very different than themselves and how to lead teams.
