2/5/19 Navia Benefits – Woodinville WA

Navia Benefits is one of WA’s largest Flex Spending Account administrators. Navia’s leadership team was looking to improve their team performance. Navia used TeamOS to video analyze their team to improve cross team collaboration.

In reviewing their team video, Geoteaming discovered these winning team strategies:

1) Use your resources – Their decision to use a car gave them a big advantage over other teams. Using a car does NOT break the 5 rules of the game.

2) Ask Questions – This team asked more questions than any team, unveiling key facts such as course size that helped their strategy.

3) Gain Early Momentum – This team chose smaller, easier tasks to gain team momentum that helped them when they tackled harder challenges later on.

4) Constant Communication – This team constantly talked with each other, helping problem solving, increasing certainty and increasing team performance.

5) Creative Problem Solving – This team used all of it’s different resources and skills (math skills, language skills, problem solving skills) to solve each of the different challenges on the course.

These 5 skills gave Team 1 a 10% advantage over the other 2 teams for the win.
