Then you need to come to The SH-AMazing Race! The day after the epic Sham-ROCK festival, you and your friends can compete in the first event title of The SH-AMazing Race! This is an app-driven scavenger hunt all through the Gas Lamp District with multiple ways to win. You’ll have a blast while you compete in real time with other teams to win The SH-AMazing Race!
Just register below and form yourself into teams of 2-8 people.
Then arrive on Saturday 3/18 at the Hard Rock Cafe San Diego at 1:00 pm for the fun to begin!
Bring your best walking shoes and a fully charge Apple or Droid cell phone. At least one of your teammates has to have a working Apple or Droid phone that can download an app to participate.

Included with this event is an app install, access to the game, a team bandana you get to keep, drink ticket and limited appetizers.
FAQs
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
No, kids under 5 are FREE, kids are welcome and usually have an advantage in operating your cell phone!
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There are parking lots and public transporation to the busy Gas Lamp District. Parking is NOT included, please allow for increased traffic during this time.
What can I bring into the event?
You can bring anything legal. We suggest good walking shoes, clothes for all types of weather, you’re only out for an hour on the course, so don’t bring any heavy bags. You can also leave bags/purses in the room during the race. If I was racing, I would bring as little as possible!

What’s the refund policy?
No refunds are provided BUT you can transfer your ticket to anyone you know or just met or let me know if you want to gift your ticket and I’ll do that for you!
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, but it sure helps us as we just scan the QR code to check you in, but we can look you up by name too.
Can I update my registration information?
If this website lets you, then sure.
Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
YES! Just let us know or change the name on the website and we’ll let that new person in.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn’t match the person who attends?
If it’s ok that you don’t get in, once we scan a ticket and let that person in, we’ll assume that ticket is used.
